King Richard School (KRS) is situated in Dhekelia, part of
the Eastern Sovereign Base Area, Cyprus. The school
provides secondary education to the sons and daughters of
serving members of British Forces' Cyprus personnel,
entitled civilians and others.

An informal but purposeful college style atmosphere where
students enjoy a degree of freedom with responsibility to
prepare them for the transition from school to university or
employment with the support and security from a structured
environment in which academic work is a priority.

KRS Key Stage 5 students follow a programme of study
leading to a variety of UK recognised qualifications
including: AS Level, A2 Level, Applied GCE, BTEC, GCSE
and ASDAN. Uniquely, KRS Students are also able to mix
their choices with courses offered by VTQ and 54 AEC in
Dhekelia and Ayios Nikolaos.

Limited, Cyprus Youth Service and VTQ to provide students
with a wide variety of both academic and vocational courses.

All students receive personal guidance and support from the

twice a term.

Students also participate in a mock interview and industry
day activities.

Work Experience placements can be arranged within the
local community and a
14 day placement in London is
offered to the students each July.

Cyprus offers a wide variety of sporting and recreational
opportunities throughout the whole year. Students

other facilities are available to students through the local
military clubs including: horse riding, football, rugby, cricket,
